Hiatus
I am not sure how long it is been, but I am on an online dating hiatus. I am taking a break for at least the short term. Need to get refocused on whats important. Online dating was starting to get like online gaming was for me in the past. Frequent peering at the monitor to see if someone had returned a message or even if someone had looked at my profile. That didn't seem healthy and I was starting to get manic about it. On top of that, the huge amount of time for the absolute lack of reward was frustrating. Well, I think I am done.
I had date number 7 today. It was pleasant, but not exceptional. She was nice, and I suppose we could meet again, but unless she takes a valium and calms down a bit I dont think I would not want to spend too much time with her. This whole process has been really hard, and I might feel different tomorrow, but I am really tired of contacting women who dont return the favor. On top of that, one of the women who I had dated earlier, number 5, deleted my notes to her. Root Canal postpones number 7
After about 7 emails, coordinating a date at the Lake today, about 30 minutes before arrival time I had to cancel. Seems I needed a root canal. I bopped into my local dentist and in an hour was headed home, with a huge feeling of relief from the intense pain that little f*&%^ing tooth was causing me. I love my dentist.
