Government is a tool of the people; it exists to carry out the will of the people, not vice versa.
Free people are endowed with rights and form their own dreams; the government should never interfere with either.
Your rights end where my rights begin. No one’s rights shall be superior to another’s. As long as my actions do not infringe on the rights of another, they are of no concern to any arm of the government.
Taxes are levied so the government may fulfill the will of the people. They are not to be used as bureaucrats see fit.
Government is responsible to protect the people from all threats, foreign and domestic.
Government shall not choose a religion for me or any other person. Nor shall the government infringe on my right to express my religion. Government will be no larger than necessary to carry out the will of the people; as Thomas Jefferson said, “A government large enough to give you everything you want, is large enough to take away everything you have.”
