Pamela Trotman Reid, Ph.D., was appointed as the eighth President of Saint Joseph College in January 2008. She came to Saint Joseph College from Roosevelt University in Chicago, where she was Provost and Executive Vice President. She has also held leadership roles at the City University of New York’s Graduate Center, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and the University of Michigan (UM). Pam Reid holds a B.S. from Howard University, an M.A. from Temple University and a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. Since becoming president, Dr. Reid has set the strategic vision for the college, including the institution of the new School of Pharmacy which will be offering a doctoral degree program starting in Fall 2010 (pending approvals), and the reorganization of the college into the School of Education, the School of Graduate and Professional Studies, the School of Health and Natural Sciences, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the School of Pharmacy.
