Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peek Day 1
Happy Black Friday! I trust everyone in America had a wonderful Thanksgiving, but can you believe we are at the end of the month already? Boy, the older I get, the faster the months go, lol. Since it is the end of the month, it's time for some Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peeks! I have a couple of stamps to show you, and they are all great for making fun and fast items. My first sneak features the stamps Mr. Spike and You Make Me Smile. I just love this bulldog, and all the fun you could have with him. We almost got a little dog like him once, but it ended up not working out.
Color Dare
Since we've taken the week off of school, I thought I would be more productive. Let's just say I'm typing this in my jammies. . .at almost noon, lol. Don't judge me, I did make a card. After this fun, I will dress and probably start pulling down Christmas decorations. I love decorating for Christmas! This card is for the Color Dare challenge. The colors this week are So Saffron, Soft Suede, and Real Red. What a pretty combo, right? For some reason this week, I've been pulling out some of my first loves from Clear Dollar Stamps. This set, Winter Eskimo
Card Patterns
I love the sketches over at Card Patterns and this is for sketch #42. The last couple of post I've had have featured this adorable snowman set. It was one of the first sets I had bought from Clear Dollar Stamps. It was the beginning of a wonderful love affair, lol! As you can tell, it's still one of my absolute favs!
Some Daddy Doll Pics
It's finally starting to feel a bit like Fall around here, and our tree out front is turning a lovely shade of dark red. I love the time of year when the leaves change. Most other places have already had this change, but here in southern GA we are starting to really see it and feel it. A while back, my bff Christi, sent me the most adorable photo album for adventures with the Daddy Doll. It came about because we had discussed how are kids could take these dolls with them anywhere they wanted to act like Dad was a part of things. My kids do some crazy things with theirs. Every night my daughter asks hers if it would like to snuggle her.
A Couple of Challenges
I should really be doing some sort of housework, but I just don't feel like it. So, instead I thought I would boost my spirits with a little card making ;) I made this card for 2 different challenges. It fits the sketch over at Card Patterns and is a winter theme for the Penny Black Challenge. I also couldn't resist using more of my awesome RAK paper from Lisa.
