I haven't worn these jeans since...
I've heard lots of women use that very phrase. They lose some weight and can fit into those 'skinny' pants that they use to wear however many years ago. I know a woman that can now fit back into a dress that she wore in high school. That's great! And I'm always very happy for them when they can wear their old clothes again.But, I don't have anything like that in my wardrobe. I gave up on my 'skinny' clothes. I thought I was destined to be fat forever. I didn't allow myself to hang on to the things that didn't fit me...and hadn't for over a year or longer. Besides the resignation of just being fat...we don't have the closet space for that. lol. Just thinking about it

Thanksgiving Panic..
I don't have it.Nope, not even a little bit.You see, I do not want to stress myself out about 'holiday' eating. I don't want to have to 'plan it all out'. And then freak out if I happen to veer from the grand plan.I am going to go and eat some really great food. But I will not stuff myself until I'm sick. Instead, I'm going to listen to my body. Which is one of the biggest things I have learned to do this year. Do whatever you need to in order to ENJOY your Thanksgiving this year. Remember, its just one day and it's really not about the food.

So, I didn't have a great week last week. I totally fessed up, took ownership over my mis-step(s), and now its on to a new week. Marcelle pulled me up by my shoe strings in the comments. Thank you.And MochaTrina asked what exactly Shoo Fly Pie is. Per Wikipedia, Shoofly pie (or shoo-fly pie) is a fluffy molasses pie considered traditional among the Pennsylvania Dutch and also known in Southern cooking. It reminded me of the centers of Fig Newton cookies. Here, take a look at the sugary goodness:
