| Description: | I've decided that I am no longer going to be myself. I am not going to bee "too young" or "too naive." I refuse to be unaccounted for as just another teen without a plan. Everywhere I turn people are preaching peace, preaching change, preaching differences. Why is no one telling the truth? We cannot ask for the government to make peace because they cannot. It is the will of God. More importantly, it is the will of us as a nation to strive harder as a whole to achieve our goals. I have decided not to pray for peace or a cure for AIDS. I will pray for us to have the strength and perseverance to reach those goals on our own. We have the strength to conquer anything if we could only put the responsibility into our own hands and stop blaming the government for everything. I have decided that I don't want the president to change our country. I want our country to change our president. I want him to speak of our ideas and award us for our achievements. We, against all odds, have remained united for over a hundred years. I have decided to ignore time. It doesn't control me anymore. I want to live everyday like its thirty hours long so I can stop to listen to the rain on the roof or the breeze blowing through the trees. I have decided to indefinitely remain the same.
