Jesus as Savior and Lord
For the past week, the Lord has brought a phrase to mind over and over… “If Jesus is your Saviour, He must also be your Lord.”I have heard this referred to as the Lordship doctrine, and while many have falsely believed that it is works based (you must change before you can be saved), it is totally based on Grace and is a change that begins at the point of salvation.When we truly accept Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we are changed from the inside out. This transformation does not occur overnight, but as we live for the Lord, our greatest desire is to glorify Him, to serve Him and to love Him. Our focus becomes less self-centered and more Christ centered –
