Prayer Update
Some of you this week will be receiving our year-end newsletter in the mail (if you’re not on our mailing list and want to be please let us know!). You will notice a special section on the passing of our sister in-law. Please be praying for Christina’s brother, Troy and our nephew and nieces as they continue to grieve the loss of Jessica. We just received news that Troy and the kids will be coming our way for Christmas here in Costa Rica and are really looking forward to spending time with them. In addition we wanted to share another family concern with you so that you can be praying. Sheri, Christina’s mom, was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. I̵
Missions Week at ESEPA
We recently wrapped up missions weeks at ESEPA. What a great week it was with William Taylor of the World Evangelical Alliance. William Taylor was born here in Costa Rica and taught for a number of years at a Seminary in Guatemala as an adult. He is a well known author and speaker so we felt especially honored to have him with us for this week. As part of the lectures and meetings surrounding the week we also invited a number of missionaries from Costa Rica to the event to share with our students about working in missions.  Events such as this are key in mobilizing our students into missions. Family Fun
Recently we had some fun with a bonfire in our yard. We invited some neighbors to join us and had a great time! The kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows and we even grilled some meat, but after eating only a little of it, our dog, “Bella,” ran off with the rest! We also had a lot of fun making fire designs with the help of a fun tool on Christina’s new camera.
