| Description: |
My name is Jamee and I am 28 years old. Within the last 6 years I have been diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses, including endometriosis and fibromyalgia. Serve that up with a topping on infertility and that is where you would find me. In trying to figure out how to process all that had been handed to me, I attended a Women of Faith conference and heard a woman share her story and she made the most brilliant statement. Sometimes life hands us things and life doesn't go back to normal. Instead we must find our new sense of normal. Thus the inspiration for the title of my blog. This blog chronicles the ins and outs of everyday life being a new mom and wife with chronic illness and how to find joy in the midst of it all. Of course I would never be capable of finding joy on my own as it all comes from my Savior and my God who walk this journey with me and provide the strength to press on. |

Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We have so much to be thankful for! This time last year we (John and I) were grieving our first failed match on our adoption journey but this year we have been celebrating Turkey Day with our wonderful (almost) 7 month old daughter! We are so thankful for the chance to be Abby's parents and to celebrate the holidays with our wonderful family! While words cannot express my gratiude for the blessings of my family, friends, and life, there is nothing more precious to me than the love of my Father and that I am adopted into His family by the life and blood of Jesus Christ and for that I am eternally grateful for! These ly
Friday Words of Faith - Cleaning
Today's words of faith were inspiring by my day of cleaning. That's right folks cleaning. I took the day off from work to clean my house. John is away at a youth pastor's conference and Abby would be in daycare the whole day so I would have the whole house to myself (well our other girls were here (aka the dogs)) so I leaped at the chance to deep clean before pulling out the Christmas decorations. I started with the kitchen because...well...it tends to get the grossest. So I started with the china cabinet and worked my way around the kitchen cleaning out cabinets and drawers. I moved my everyday dishes and put my beautiful holiday dishes on display.

Yay Me Monday :)
I have seen all sorts of Not Me Mondays across the blogosphere and granted they keep in laughing but I decided to be a little more positive this morning! My Yay Me for today is that I got up and went running this morning! Woo-hoo! I started Couch to 5k (again---I am a C25K flunkie). I was out of bed at 6am and was on the road by 6:15am. Thankfully I looked at the weather before heading out the door in shorts but I wish I had put a little more thought into it and grab some gloves and a hat! It was COLD! But I got to experience a b-e-a-utiful sunrise! Not something I see very
