So, what is “aSharedLife”? One of my favorite Bible verses says, “We loved you so much that we shared with you not only the Gospel, but our very lives as well” (1 Thessalonians 2:8). Real community–a sharing of lives–is elusive. People want it, talk about it, but rarely experience it. I won’t pretend that I have all the solutions, but at least I can start by sharing my own life.
I always seem to find myself in a discussion about sharing resources. One of my biggest frustrations is finding good resources and materials for doing young adult (18-20/30-something) ministry. There are a lot of resources out there, but it’s hard to sort through everything even when you mange to find them. So, this is a place where I can share the things–software, books, curriculum, ideas, etc.–that have helped me. So, enjoy…and please add to the conversations what you have found. |

I’m also guessing that there are a lot of people who don’t feel like “religious people” would be interested in the
Intro to Inductive Bible Study & Observation
This series is on inductive Bible Study corresponds to a class I’m teaching. You can find an introduction to the class here. If you’re in the class or not, I hope you join the discussion–but most of all, I hope you explore the text. Years ago, if you told me that studying the Bible would change my life, I’d probably think you were crazy. Now, I know it to be true!
Since I use Google Docs to type up the notes each week, you can view the all of the handouts here.
