Surah Al Hujurat
The subject matter of this Surah is to teach the Muslims the manners worthy of true believers. In the first five verses they have been taught the manners they should observe with regard to Allah and His Messenger. Then, they have been given the instruction that it is not right to belive in every news blindly and to act according to it, without due thought. If information is received about a person, a group or a community, it should be seen carefully whether the means of the information is reliable or not. If the means is not reliable, it should be tested and examined to see whether the news is authentic or not before taking any action on it.

Being turned down
Recently I'm going through a period of events where I'm being turned down quite a lot. Sometimes it makes me feel like I should have stayed away by handcuffing myself under the deep end of a pool. But the past is the past and every calamity happens for a reason. When I ask Allah to forgive so and so and guide them to the right path, I feel a lot better.I currently miss all my old readers who used to spend so much of their time writing warm comments for me to read. Our ummah's 'Eid is nearing and I haven't done much Qur'an reading. Yet I feel very happy with my accomplishments this month. I was able to pray on time and mostly in congregation. I've lost a few habits I've been wanting to get rid of for years.
