Bill Bradbury for Governor
Last week I was proud to endorse my friend Bill Bradbury for Governor of Oregon.
Bill is a man of extremely strong character, commitment and leadership. He was one of the first fifty people I trained to give my Keynote presentation through the Climate Project and has presented it over 200 times.
He will make an exceptional Governor. If you would like to learn more about Bill or help out his campaign visit: http://bradbury2010.com
The Eizenstat Lecture
I'm in Atlanta today to deliver the Eizenstat Family Memorial Lecture at Ahavath Achim Synagogue. I’ll be discussing, Solutions to the Climate Crisis: The opportunities and choices we must make in the US and around the world.
Great News
Last week I wrote about why it would be beneficial for President Obama to go to Copenhagen. According to Reuters:
“U.S. President Barack Obama said on Monday he would travel to Copenhagen next month if a climate summit is on the verge of a framework deal and his presence there will make a difference in clinching it.”
The attendance of the President at the Copenhagen summit would be a symbol to the world that the US is ready to take a leading role in solving the climate crisis.
