Colonel Lang on Afghanistan
This is a well thought out sentence by sentence analysis of the reasons warhawks Fred and Kim Kagan give to continue war in Afghanistan in a recent Washington Post article.  The Kagans were in Afghanistan and advised McChrystal and in the article give some reason they advocate for escalation in Afghanistan.  Colonel Lang has a slightly different opinion.    The paragraph below is taken from their post article .  Go to Lang’s site for the whole story.  It is worth a read.
