A CrossFit Confession
Mea culpa maxima. My apologies for the intermission between posts. I have reasons for this abeyance so allow me to explain. One of my dearest friends in New York suddenly lost her sister. My own family has sustained enumerable medical exams. There have been squabbles in my own relationship about health. Caught in the middle and trying to stay above it all, I have been depressed. I mean like William Styron depressed. Per usual, I want no sympathy. Clinical depression is something I have worked with for decades and just until this past month, I had been moving along at a nice clip. Who knows what triggered this precipitious slip? Do or Do Not. There is no try.
Please do not run for the door. I am going to briefly discuss twitter. I am a twitter junkie. I tweet a lot. (the transitive verb is “tweet” not “twat”) Without getting into gratuitous detail, twitter has allowed me to connect internationally with experts on just about any topic that tickles my fancy. I tweet with a great Alfred Hitchcock expert, I follow a gaggle of literature buffs, I follow Jerry Remy, I tweet with social media gurus and I am personally followed by Kirstie Alley. (Brushing off my shoulders here). One of the best things about Twitter is how I have used it to follow any and all discourse on CrossFit across the country
