Diana & David | Engagement Session
November in Chicago can be pretty interesting. When it comes to photographing people outside this time of the year, I often worry about the weather (if you live here, you know what I mean). Basically you hope for the best. Diana and David really wanted to catch some last colors of the fall and we were trying to find a nice place for their engagement session. I’m glad Diana mentioned Chicago Botanic Garden, because I like it a lot. It was a great choice! Lidia & Hubert + Maya & Hydie | Family session
I met Lidia and Hubert last year in September. They asked me to photograph their little family of four - 12 legs total :-). I still remember the warm colors of the late afternoon sun that day. I was so happy when Lidia called me again this year to schedule a session in the same park. Lidia loves black and white images, but I decided to show some fall colors this time. That was a really nice afternoon and I’m looking forward to photograph them again.

Jessica & Karl | Wedding
Jessica and Karl had a small, beautiful outdoor wedding. They chose Baha’i Temple’s gardens for their ceremony and pictures. I really like outdoor ceremonies, so I was very happy that they didn’t get discourage by the weather. It rained a whole day before and when I saw a dark gray clouds in a morning I was really worried. Luckily, the weather turned out to be just perfect in the afternoon :-). Jessica and Karl, thank you for choosing me to document your weeding day! I wish you all the best!
