I am tired of fighting.  With anyone.  Maybe I am tired of being an asshole, surrounded by other assholes that bring out my asshole-ness.  Maybe I am just tired of being Jamie and trying so hard to do it perfectly.  Perhaps I will just sit in some back seat and be dispassionate; see how everyone likes me then.  I’m not sad, just frustrated. I spend most of my days working my ass off for the greater good, some secret stupid popu-narcissist that I am, and I lay down (most nights) feeling unfulfilled and broken.  I need a new plan.  I might just start acting like every other asshole around me and give nary a f&&& about anything.  My days at the restauran
