Congratulations to the New York Yankees for winning the World Series. Took you long enough. The last time the team won a World Series was 2000. That’s like forever. How long ago exactly? There are children alive who do not remember a Yankees victory parade. The Red Sox have won two world championships since the Yankees beat the Mets in 2000. Two! A black man has been elected President.
