Confessions of a Cereal Cheater
All right, maybe not a cereal, such as Captain Crunch & Coco Pepples, but serial as in I'm great at reasoning/justifying the cheat.Anyone that follows me along on Twitter or Facebook is probably aware of my gut busting gluttony on Saturday. I made it an all out effort, deciding I was going all the way. Hamburger buns, fries, chicken tenders, bourbon, beer, & ice cream. Paleo Challenge - Week 2
Week 2 begins today! The topic of cheating came up again & I have to confess - I definitely cheated yesterday... I was really going to NOT drink any alcohol for 30 days and then a sweet opportunity (involving a limo) came up and I could not say no. Even so, I had less drinks than I have fingers and I was a hot mess. I woke up at 7 on a couch totally confused. :)I still started the week off with a WOD... one of the on-ramp workouts which is pretty sweet. I was woozy and pukey before we even started and found myself dry heaving on the side of the garage immediately after. First Day...
How was your first day? I'm feeling great! For those that heard about the paleo challenge late, you could always just start a week later and follow the blog... 30 days is 30 days any way you slice it. Little tip: we were in a pinch today (always seem to be running out of time) and I found canned sweet potatoes at Giant Eagle. Always check the ingredients. This can stated - Ingredients: Sweet Potatoes. Mash them suckers up with a lil butter and heat for a second - yum. We paired it with watermelon and a ready to go rotisserie chicken... Gearing up - Salad Dressing
Check out the links on the sidebar to help you stay on track throughout the Paleo Challenge. We made this dressing for our salad (lunch) tomorrow. We did omit the honey b/c we like our dressing really tart. Well... I do anyway and I do the cooking so that's what Jimi gets!
