Word from the Dirt Derby: Sadly, the track is again too doused from rain for enjoyable riding or even parking and we must cancel. With the Thanksgiving Holiday coming on Thursday, we’ll be doing our weekly roundup of cycling events around Austin a day early on Wednesday this week. Rest assured just because the rest of us are stuffed with turkey and dressing while dozing off to football doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of opportunities to get out and ride your bike in ATX. To whet your appetite, go ahead and put this Thanksgiving Day alleycat race on your calendar so you can burn a few fun calories before packing them on at dinner.
