Austin City Outer Limits
Well it's a good thing I didn't invest money to be miserable at a muddy Austin City Limits Festival. Instead, I hosted the Austin City Outer Limits festival. Complete with zombies. My first foray into filmmaking. What a blast! I've pieced together some raw footage and also a rough take on the music video portion. Fantastic Fest and Austin School of Film fundraiser
First of all, it's coming up on Fantastic Fast time in Austin, September 24 - October 1. Fantastic Fest is "the largest genre film festival in the U.S., specializing in horror, fantasy, sci-fi, action and just plain fantastic movies from all around the world." Most of the films are shown at the Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar. So I'll let you in on a little secret. Best wishes to Lucinda Williams and her new husband, manager Tom Overby. They got married on Friday September 18 at her concert in Minneapolis, which kicked off her 30th anniversary tour. She got the idea from Hank Williams.
