My Little Sock Monkey
For Halloween Ryan was a sock monkey.  Not just any sock monkey, but the most adorable sock monkey to ever roam the land.   We went to John’s parents house and went trick-or-treating around their neighborhood.  He didn’t really get it, but tried to say “thank you” a couple times.  I just thought it was funny when people would ask what kind of candy he can eat.  I was thinking “You think he’s eating this candy?” Here are some of my favorite photos from the evening:

A Public Service Announcement
I’ve had a couple days to digest this, and while two days is still not enough time, I wanted to let everyone that I don’t talk to daily to know…  Friday I was let go from my job.  I don’t really know what I’m wanting to say in this post, especially in the off chance that anyone that still works there would read this, I guess to just get it out there so people don’t ask me how my job is going.  I know it’s not their fault and they feel bad.  I am getting some severance pay and for that I’m thankful.  I am confident they will give me good references.  But it was a like a family to me.  My best friends in Springfield worked t

A day at the farm
We went to the Rutledge Wilson Farm yesterday to check out some animals and the pumpkin patch.  Ryan loved looking at the chickens and pretending to drive the tractors.  He even milked a fake cow.  Grandpa would be proud of our little farmer.

13 Months Old
It’s been a while since my last post.  In the past few weeks Ryan has pretty much aced walking.  He has learned that he doesn’t have to run everywhere he goes.  He takes a few steps at a time, stands, and then takes a few more steps.  Here is a video: This next video is a perfect representation of what Ryan is like, I think it’s my favorite video of him yet: Here are some pictures from the past few weeks too:
