Describing Delphine and Photo Extravaganza
Delphine has just exploded in the past few weeks. She has really begun to experiment with words, repeating what we say and singing along with song lyrics. She's asserting her independence and letting us know that she does indeed have a personality. I was trying to think of a good way to describe her, and couldn't pick a simple adjective. This is what a came up with:She is a petite, hardcore, sassy, assertive, independent, persistent, shy, troublemaker and little miss thing all wrapped in a pink and black sparkly bow.
Saturday Breakfast
Delphine's appetite has been growing, so her daddy made her special kitty cat pancakes. She was so excited and surprised!
Too Cool
My Domino has grown up all of a sudden and can't be bothered to smile for the camera anymore. Instead, he throws up peace signs and his super cool serious face. Or he will totally go through his rock out poses for me.
Attack of the Carbs
Delphine has been doing very well with her eating, and we haven't hit many road blocks lately. She has days where she just doesn't feel like eating much, and others where she is constantly raiding the pantry for her favorite snacks. She has however, finally discovered the joys of carbs! She used to refuse all bread and crackers - like they were the most disgusting things on this planet. Suddenly, she loves them! She will come home and ask for not one, but two butter "cakoos" (crackers) after school.Last night, I captured her mealing on a bread stick with her spaghetti dinner.
