Thanksgiving
It truly was a beautiful day. We have so much to be thankful for and are constantly reminded of God's goodness as Matt and I look around our home. Liam was feeling the need to be sweet to us and slept in until 915. I had already been up for a while and made all the Thanksgiving phone calls an

Last week was a week of appointments. For me, for Liam, for Daddy. They all went swimmingly, but it sure made a for a hectic few days. Liam spent the morning at a different person's house Monday-Wednesday each day so that I could do my appointments. He got to play with lots of kids and
With the wind comes changes
Liam has changed so much in the last week, my goodness. On Saturday, I realized that he was intentionally reaching for things. Toys. Blankets. My hair. Matt's glasses. It's been really fun to watch him try to grab things as they pass by him. Another nifty thing is that he is making a real effort to sit up on his own. When we went to the doctor's for his ear infection, Liam had lost half a pound. I knew he wasn't nursing as much as he usually did, but I tried not to worry. As he was getting better, I was getting worse. I had a cough that threatened to take over my life no matter how much vitamin C I pumped into
Weekend in review
Phew! This weekend went so fast, I'm not even sure it was here! Friday afternoon, Matt came home from work pretty sick. He laid on the couch most of the afternoon and evening. I have to learn to be more compassionate toward him when he doesn't feel well (despite his utter lack of concern no matter how ill I am :D) because soon enough, Liam will be learning from my actions and words and I don't want him to grow up insensitive to other's needs. I was actually really glad that Matt came home from work as early as he did because he took the handset for the baby monitor to work with him. Apparently, his brain was clogged with snot and he thought it was his cell phone. I'm not 1
