Blog Name: Beat the Brecons (in Wales) for the British Red Cross
Url: http://jonwinterburn.wordpress.com
Language: English
Topics: charity, red cross, fund raising
Description: 60 miles in just 3 days. On Thursday 13th August 2009 I will be setting off with other challengers from Chelmsford in Essex and travelling to Brecon in Wales to take part in the "Beat the Brecons" challenge being organised by the British Red Cross. I will be following in the footsteps of the SAS for a gruelling 3-day trek in the rugged Brecon Beacons. During the 3 days I am in Brecon, I shall have to trek 20 miles per day which will involve: - a punishing hill climb - a testing canoe trip along the River Wye - a battling mountain bike ride If you can, please support me in my efforts to raise money for the British Red Cross. Please visit my newly-launched blog at: http://jonwinterburn.wordpress.com and click on "Sponsor Me" to donate via the JustGiving web site. You can sponsor me online using your credit card or Paypal and the web site is safe and secure.
