A city kid goes tubing
A few days ago I was with a dear friend and we talked about going tubing on a little creek closeby. This tubing thing is new to me. My tubing and nature loving friend Bill decided to bring along his big black Labrador dog who has been used to being in water a lot. Fred drove us off to the launch site and after a minutes of preparation, we're ready. Then I kiss Fred goodbye. My friend and I are off!It takes me a little time to get myself into the tube and get comfortable. Before we left, I told my friend that I only wanted to take a short ride. It just felt right for me to take it a bit slow the first time out. So Away we go tubing along with his Lab swimming dog

Some time ago I left the city after living for almost ten years in Battery Park City.  And moved with Fred to live by the healing waters of the Atlantic Ocean in the Hamptons- the "big waters" of great Light & healing. More Swan Love
September 18 2009So I'm here at the water's edge on Beaver Creek drinking my morning cup of tea with Fred.The Swan family swim to be close to us and I ask Fred to help me feed them/cause the three baby Swans are getting so soo big and hungry hungry hungry!Fred goes to one side of our lawn a little away from me and starts feeding Mommy&Daddyand one baby Swan. I try to get all 3 baby Swans to join me so I can feed our wholewheat andmultigrain bread to them. It's a lot easier to feed them now with Fred's help. After we finish we go back into the house so they know that their feedtime

16 July 2009 somewhere in horse country in New Jerseyour old car was getting old&tired. It was with a bit of sadness that I stood over our owndear Buick Fred's mother had passed on to us a few years ago.So there I was outside the car mechanics shopsaying a prayer of goodbye.I raised my hands and blessed this sweet old vehicle, thanking her for such a good jobof taking Fred and I wherever we needed to go and then told her she had also been a greattraveling companion for Fred's mom and dad.
