During the past year, Blazing Saddles, written by Sam Sylar, has become one of my favorite local cycling blogs.  Cerebral but not condescending, irreverent but not rebellious, its writings eschewed the bland “Race Report” and “My Ride” brand of posts that are the staple of most local cycling blogs.
