A Better Criticism Of Verticalness
I miss Scott Feschuck. I miss funny blogposts from the leader's plane about the Colts, and I miss guest posts by PMPM. Further to my last post, which I now admit may have been a bit harsh on Paul Wells, who may have not intended to be so critical, see Prime Minister Harper's Vertical Command Structure Here, and you decide who is the authoritarian.
Paul Wells Likes It Horizontal?
Behold, rich criticism of a vertical command structure from the man whose unflattering book on Prime Minister Martin criticized his office for being horizontal. "Groupthink," he called it. Daily Kos has a brilliant little breakdown on House Democrats who voted to support the new health care plan. Some of the "aye" votes come from districts with PVI as high as R-10, which shows how important and contentious this bill is. Now for the Senate...If this passes, our precious Canadian identity of being "not American" will become more difficult than ever to demonstrate. Our pluralistic and tolerant society with gun control and public health care will be hard to distinguish from our neighbours to the South soon. They
