I did it! I ran my first 1/2 marathon this past Saturday! I can't believe that I made it through. I was going to do intervals through out the entire run since my knee has been bothering me but I just kept at it. It's amazing what your body can actually do when you put your mind to it.  Even though I wanted to collapse and fall to the ground a few times during the run since I was so tired, I didn't. Although, there was this man behind me at the very last mile who kept breathing super LOUD and groaning, it was quite distracting and annoying to say the least. So, I had to get away from him so I booked it at the very end.

::Update and a couple of recipes::
So I have been a busy lady. But one thing that I want to update you on first is that I have finally signed myself up for my very first 1/2 marathon (13.1 miles)! The one that I thought I was going to run was the OUC 1/2 Marathon in December, but we have a big Christmas party to attend the night before and my kids have their first Running Club run the next morning, which I don't want to miss. Busy week!
This past Saturday we had a Halloween Sideshow Circus Party at Heather and Greg's house in Tampa. It was hilarious to see all of the funny costumes and the creativity that people came up with. I think my favorites were the Wing's Girl (ya know... like a Hooter's Girl) and Hulk Hogan (because Steve fit the costume *so well*, I almost didn't recognize that it was him and then, couldn't believe how much he looks like Hogan in real life). Finally!
I was able to figure out the problem with my folder icon previews. I wanted to organize and clean up my folders in my digi-scrap files. I was tired of having the basic folders as my icons and would rather have previews to display what was inside of the folder.  The problem was, they needed to be switched from "read only" files to "read and write only" files in order for me to show a preview of what's inside of them. It only took me a few weeks to realize that was the problem. How annoying!Rather than have my folders look something like this...
