Petro Show Sneak Preview
Thanks to 45RPM for these, a man who clearly can’t resist the possibility of checking out some fonts. Some sneak photos of the Petro show opening at Friend and Co tomorrow, should give you a little idea of what to expect (there’s a clue in there being preview photos this early too probably…)

Barton Hill Youth Club Still Going
As mentioned a couple of times before, the legendary Barton Hill Youth Club is still there, and has recently had people going back to paint again. Not the free space it used to be, painting’s only been on a few of organised weekends, but it’s slowly coming together.
That said, the place is under threat of demolition in the next couple of years at the moment, a decision that people will no doubt come to regret in a few years time if it does happen. So, more painting coming up in the new year probably, but here’s a bit of what’s there now…

New Petro Show
Some of you probably haven’t heard of Petro, he’s from the old skool and certainly hasn’t joined in with the whole ’street art gallery sales’ bandwagon of the last few years, but he’s got more skills than many out there who have.
So, he’s got a new show opening this Friday at Friend and Co up on Park Row, which is

New Council Graffiti Policy – Comment Now!
Being out of play for the last couple of weeks means this has got missed, although to be fair the council’s hardly been shouting from the rooftops about it.
They’ve finally got a new graffiti policy drafted for the city, and if you want to have your say, comments on it need to be in by midday this Tuesday (17th November). It’s going to be discussed by the Clean and Green board on the 19th. So they’re not leaving themselves much time to write up the results of the consultation. Or maybe that’s all part of the same thing.
