Flyers Bitten By Sharks; Lose 6-3 to San Jose

Emery Looks Sharp in 3-2 Win Over Devils; JVR Scores Again
The Flyers looked sharp in their 3-2 victory over the Devils.  Their puck movement was crisp, their physical play was tough, the action was high, and Ray Emery was absolutely solid in net.  The Devils headed into the game sitting at the top of the standings, along with an impressive 9-0 road record to start the season.  Despite their success, the Devils have lost both match-ups against the Flyers so far this season.  Another road victory would have tied them for an NHL record, but the Flyers managed to spoil their bid.
