Paradise but no cheeseburger
Picture a man who drove long tedious hours to get to paradise, went to bed early and now faces a day without off-shore fishing. This is the picture of disappointment!We arrived in Marathon (in the Florida Keys) about 3pm yesterday, drove around the neighborhood to check out the area, picked up lunch supplies and southern fried chicken for dinner to eat quickly so the fisherman could try his luck on the dock at the canal behind the house we are renting for the week.

Packed my bags last night preflight zero hour 9am
Vacation starts tomorrow. Early. Very early. I am not packed and I should go to bed right now, sleep tight and get up early to get everything into the car and go. I know... I am just asking for a stressful start to what should be a wonderful relaxing time. But, I can never sleep the night before an adventure. I worked harder today than I have in the past 2 weeks, just trying to wrap up loose ends that I had left lying around hoping they would tidy themselves up. The lists in my head are growing with every breath. But as Scarlett said "tomorrow is another day." ... and I'm gonna' be high aye as a kite by then.
