A Quick Hello
It's almost bedtime, but I think I can fit in a quick post. Today has been a wonderful and strange day.You see, today is my birthday. Which in itself is not strange, though being one year away from turning a quarter of a century has caused me to remember how I used to think that people who were in their mid-twenties are soooo old. To think that I was once naive enough to believe that this mysterious mid-twenties person would never be me. Ha, well here it is!Today also happened to be my first day back at practicum. I have to say that I couldn't ask for a better birthday present. It feels so good to get away from having to sit through lectures and do assig
Long Time No See
I realize that I have been away for a long time and I have no valid "excuse" other than I simply needed a break. Sometimes life decides to happen and you have to make sacrifices and unfortunately my blogging was one of these sacrifices. I will attempt to bring you up to date on my life since the last time I posted. Here goes...Practicum Block 1I believe I told you about my faculty liaison from Queen's coming to visit me? I'm sure most of you realize that this means the students minds were elsewhere for the first bit and it took a lot to get their attention and try to keep it once I did. At the end of the day my associate teacher commented that it took a lot for me to keep their attention, but also apologized about giving them the assignments
Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving everyone (yes it's Thanksgiving in Canada today). I'm sure you have noticed that I have not been around much this week. I haven't really had a chance to be around this week. I'm usually not even at my room for 11 to 12 hours of the day. When I am at my room I have to work on assignments, answer emails, and hope that I get to bed at a reasonable time. I now know why we have been warned that we will not have a life until May. There isn't time for it.Well, to be honest I did manage to have a bit of a life this wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Colin picked me up on Friday night. We went to the Rockton Thanksgiving Fair, which is pretty descent consider
