Here’s a Brilliant Idea
I’m really excited about this week because Project 18 Inc is going to be revealing what our new *top secret* project is that we’ve been banging on about for weeks. I think you’re going to love it… but if you don’t just pretend and act excited, ‘cause we do
Now, here’s a brilliant idea. As you know the sewing project items I’ve been making for Project 18 are now available from the website shop. They’ve got a huge range of bags, baby t-sh
I am Me
Was tempted to blog in Haiku as an attempt to keep my post to a reasonable length, but alas I don’t even like them.
So it’s been an eventful week as you’ve no doubt seen/read. I am so fortunate to have such a passionate and motivated team of supporters around me, some times just the smallest message, wink or smile is enough. A knowing nod speaks volumes.
What I really wanted to explain in this particular post is that I am me. To some of you that might sound like a stupid, simplistic or even just downright obvious statement but to others apparently there has been some confusion.
Good Guys DO Finish Last
Ok, so this isn’t directly charity related but this blog is about what happens when you make a decision to change your life for the “better” and follow your heart to try to leave the world a better place.
I’m emotionally drained, so most of this post is going to be copies & pasted from an email I sent last night to a friend. Forgive me, it’s not lazy… it’s just an emotional incapability to write it all again.

Inspiration Nation
I just wanted to take a few minutes to write a new blog post. I’ll be frank, there are days (weeks, in fact) where I see this blog as a distraction to what I really need to be doing, but I need to remind myself that the blog, like all promotional vehicles, are a necessary evil and that I can’t do this on my own.
That’s never been more apparent to me than in the last few days. Yep, we’ve had a bit of a shocker lately and things haven’t been as smooth sailing as what we would have liked them to be but that’s the nature of the beast and I would be lying if I said “oh wow, I didn’t expect that to happen”.
I’m just overwhelmed though by the support that’s
Reality is a funny thing…
I’ve neglected the blog of late, I’ve been lacking in much to say. I know, hard to believe!! It’s probably really more a matter of “if you don’t have anything nice to say…” – my mother taught me well.
Fortunately (or, unfortunately, depending on how you look at it) I did promise at the dawn of this blog that the account that I give of this process would be a true and accurate one, and that I would share the ups as well as the downs. This is where I struggle, because I’ve made an art of displaying calm waters when I’m paddling madly under the surface. I’ve even been called “serene” …I’m not sure how well those people knew me LOL.
So let me j
