Although nearly everyone agrees there is a problem with America, few are articulating the truest solution to her problems: A return to the first principles of Republican government. The purpose of this website is to educate all interested parties in the original principles of American civil government, make those principles readily available, and reconnect people with the history and heritage of those that first sounded the trumpet of liberty.
We cannot possibly see a new birth of freedom without seeing liberty in its glorious historic context. |

Cap and Trade Not just Tax, but Liberty Issues
I saw the article below this week. Your house is going to be inspected by agents of the federal government under “Cap and Trade.” It does not appear the Congress is listening to any Constitutional ideas. The Bailout, the Stimulus, Hate Crimes, Cap and Trade and the up coming Copenhagen Treaty are all violating our compact. Take note of those Reps and Senators who vote against liberty and throw them out. j.beller

Washington, D.C.–The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act on October 8 as part of the authorization that funds the Department of Defense for 2010.
Once the Senate votes for concurrence, the measure will be on its way to the desk of President Obama, who has pledged to sign it.
With his signature, the measure would become only the second significant pro-LGBT federal law to be enacted. The first was 19 years ago: the Hate Crime Statistics Act, directing the FBI to collect info
