You know all those subdivisions with the houses one on top of the other?
Well this isn’t one of those.
This is a great house in a lovely neighborhood with real life, full grown, honest to God TREES!
Are you the guy who likes to have the best lawn in town? Welcome home, all you have to do is keep it that way. The separately metered irrigation system will make it easy (and cut your watering bill in half).
What’s an escrow?
I love working with first time buyer’s – they always ask me questions that prompt blog posts. The most recent one was:
‘Will my taxes and insurance be part of my monthly payment?’
The short answer, which is almost always true is ‘Yes.’ If you have a mortgage, the mortgage holder will usually require an escrow account be set up from which your annual taxes and insurance will be paid.

Hamilton County,
Looking for a facelift for less than $100?
It’s generally accepted these days that spending huge amounts of money on upgrades for your home are not going to result in a good return on your hard earned cash when you are ready to sell. At the same time, doing nothing isn’t the way to go either.
Here are a few things that will earn you some appreciation (of both the gratitude & monetary kind) when you go to sell your house. Unless you are a clutz of the highest order, you should be able to do these yourself with a budget of less than $100 per item. In fact, you could almost do all of these things for a total of a hundred bucks.
Not enough data.
