Oops, Josh McDaniels said a bad word...
Even though it's on NFL Network, which about 20% of the damn country actually gets, Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels is getting some crap (shit) about his exchange with some players on the sideline during Thursday night's win over the Giants (those bastards...). It's all good to have people mic'd up during a game, but you better damn well have the dump button ready in case men become men
Picks of Destiny: Week 12
Well, actually sitting down and doing some research paid off a bit last week, leading to a 13-3 record and 104 points. It was only good for 16th of 48 in one pool and 10th of 51 in the other, but it still helped in the overall standings. With a 108-53 record, I now stand 7th of 48 (19 out) in one pool and 13th of 51 (38 out) in the other. There are a lot of quarterback injuries across the league and a lot of experts debating this week's results, which could make this a tricky week. Just hoping for another week over .500 and hope to climb a bit in the overall standings. On with the picks:16 - Cincinnati over Cleveland. I know the Bengals lost to the Raiders last week a
Moon over our Devin
Imagine seeing this on a jumbotron Sunday night, damn! In case you haven't heard about (nor seen) the evidence, here it is. Bears receiver Devin Hester has his pants pulled down for all the world to see while trying to catch one of Jay Cutler's several poor throws in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Eagles. Guys, warning, it's a guy's ass, so you may not want to watch. Ladies, keep the hits coming!!
Picks of Destiny: Week 11
Well, this season continues to head down the shitter for me in both of my pools. Bill Belichick's inexplicable fourth-down call Sunday night was a microcosm of my weekend, to be certain.I wound up a pathetic 7-9 with 83 points, which placed me 38th of 51 in one pool and 33rd of 48 in the other. Absolutely unacceptable. My slide down the season standings continued, as well. I now sit at 95-50 overall with 967 points. I have fallen all the way to 16th of 51 (38 back of first) in one pool and 7th of 48 in the other (24 back). At the risk of overthinking things, I decided to overthink things this week. I delved into power rankings, recent trends, home/road record and poin
Do you seriously think Gordon Beckham got screwed?
Earlier Monday, I posted a status update on my Facebook page congratulating former Kane County Cougars pitcher Andrew Bailey, one of my favorites in nearly 10 years of covering the team, for winning the AL Rookie of the Year award as the closer of the Oakland A's.Immediately after posting it, I posted a comment to Sox fans to not worry that Gordon Beckham did not win the award.
