Description: Currently Director of Sales at Buddy Media, I'll offer commentary and up to date advice and insights on Social Media. I'm a student of the Social Media world and am learning every day. I'll share as much information as I can. This blog has turned into a fun tool and outlet where I get to chat about anything and everything. It just so happens that I work in the Social Media world and love every second of it. I'm also an avid reader (expect some killer recommendations), I'm a student of the online world (expect reviews and opinions about people I admire and think are changing things) I also meditate, practice yoga, run, and work-out (so you can expect some insight and opinion regarding each). I hope you enjoy!

Social Media: A Funny Little Story
This past Thanksgiving weekend was awesome.  I was able to spend quality time with my daughter, hang with the rest of my family, and get things done around the house that I knew wouldn’t happen if I didn’t complete them this particular weekend (Christmas decorations aren’t as fun to put up as they can be to look at).  Friday afternoon we were spent. We’d hosted Thanksgiving, and were still in recovery mode.  As the evening came upon us: for the first time in a very long while my wife and I were momentarily at a loss for what to do.  We decided to venture out to the local Borders store.  As per usual I drifted into the business section.  As a point of curiosity lately I like
100 Things I’m Grateful For
As the short work week winds down, and we begin to prepare for the festivities for Thanksgiving, I thought it might be interesting to take a step back to reflect upon the true essence of what Thanksgiving is all about.  I got to thinking about how lucky I am, and about all of the people, and things I’m grateful for in my life.  Here’s my list of 100 things I’m grateful for – I encourage you to do the same. You’ll be shocked how many good things there are in your life. Use this as a tool to help to keep you on track when you feel like things aren’t going your way, or when you feel like there’s nothing in life to be grateful for.  Add to the lis
7 Powerful Questions
Recently I started to listen to an audio book called Mastering the Seven Decisions.  In the audio book the author Andy Andrews lays out 7 questions that he has leveraged to gain the most valuable information from the wisest people he’s met.   I’ve listed them here.  This Thanksgiving think about these questions, and maybe ask them of someone you respect. The answers will surprise you. What’s the first thing you do when you’re depressed? What’s the most important decision you’ve ever made in your life? What’s the worst decision you’ve ever made in your life? If you had to give an 18 yr old one specific piece of wisdom wha
F*ck Mediocrity
Today I was thinking about how mediocrity is a disease that’s rampant in our society, and that chaps my Hyde.  I’d bet that 9 out of 10 people that read that statement would agree. “Right on Chris”, “you tell em” – “mediocrity blows”….”go get em”…Then they would roll over on the couch, pop on Dancing with the Stars and enjoy their down time because they deserve it. I say f*ck that.
NHL on Facebook: Why the NHL is the Darling of the Social Media Community
A few weeks back the NHL launched their custom Facebook page. Full disclosure: the NHL is a client at Buddy Media.  They have quickly become the darling of the social media community because not only are they engaging in social media, but together we have implemented one of the most dynamic, engaging, fun and “fan centric” Fan pages on Facebook. Let’s break down what they’re doing properly on their
