Information

Blog Name: Christian Fantasy Book Reviews

Language: English
Topics: christian book reviews, teen books, fantasy books
Description: In the Christian Fantasy Review, you will find plenty of Christian book reviews to help you find the best fantasy books for your family. I and occasional guest reviewers will be taking a look at the fantasy offerings popular with teens and commonly available in local libraries. We will also provide book reviews of Christian authors who aren't represented in the local library but should be. I will be looking not only at best fantasy books, but also at some films and videogames. The purpose of the Christian Fantasy Review is to inform families so that they can discuss the critical issue of worldviews with their teens. We need to teach the skill of discernment to our young people, so that they can recognize worldly themes when they read them.

Earth Is Not Alone by John Knapp II (Emryss Chronicles) Published 2009 by Ephemeron Press (self-published), 496 pages Genre: Christian sci/fi, young adult (and up) This book entwines two story threads which appear to be unrelated. But I am guessing that, in sequels, we will find out that they are in fact related. Here’s one story thread:  in a future year, an electromagnetic pulse attack from an unknown source knocks out al
Haunt of Jackals–What Others Are Saying
Other bloggers on the CSFF blog tour have actually finished Haunt of Jackals by Eric Wilson, so let’s find out what they think. One of the orphans in Gina’s care, Pavel, shows signs of being a Concealed One. They must both escape to America in order to stay under the Collectors’ radar. Haunt of Jackals by Eric Wilson, a partial review
CSFF Blog Tour: Haunt of Jackals by Eric Wilson Published 2009 by Thomas Nelson, 401 pages. Second in the Jerusalem’s Undead Trilogy. Genre: Christian suspense/horror vampire tale I’d rate it PG-13 if not R. I did not intend to review this book for the Christian Science Fiction/Fantasy Blog tour because suspense stories are too nerve-wracking for me. I rea
CSFF Blog Tour Day 3: Donita K Paul weighs in
Now it’s the third and final day of the CSFF blog tour of Donita K. Paul’s book, The Vanishing Sculptor. Mrs. Paul kindly supplied the answers to my questions of yesterday. Here they are: 1. Is The Vanishing Sculptor the beginning of another series? Vanishing Sculptor is the first in The Chiril Chronicles. We’ve planned for three, and I’m working on The Wandering Artist now. 2. Do paladins (emissaries of God) live 1000 years? Paladins do live for a 1,000 years or more. A Paladin is a champion of the people. On my world, they are mortal.
Day 2- CSFF Blog Tour, The Vanishing Sculptor
I’m still talking about Donita K. Paul’s book,
