First StampTV Customer Blog Hop
Hello! I am so excited because today starts the first ever customer blog hop for Gina K's StampTV. Yay!!!I used Asela's First Christmas stamp set to make a gift set for a friend. I made an ornament, a gift box, and a matching card. I just love this gorgeous cardinal in the set!
Limelight Sketch Challenge 34
I made a card this evening for Limelight's sketch challenge for this week. We were to use the sketch provided and also use chipboard on our card. I'm trying to finish up my Christmas cards so I wanted to use a Christmas theme on my card. I choose a star shaped piece of chipboard and then covered it with burgundy glitter. Somehow I ended up with glitter all over my stamp room and myself too. LOL! I used Basic Grey's Wassail paper for the little squares. It doesn't show up well in the picture but the white fiber has clear sparkly fibers in it too so it is very shimmery in real life. The sentiment is from Theresa's s
Merry & Bright
I made this card for a color challenge at stampTV. The challenge was use the colors ivory, champagne(light gold), and burgundy on our card. I stamped the ornament on Ivory cardstock and then paper pieced it using Cranberry Tart cardstock and gold patterned paper. I used the Stars Cuttlebug embossing folder on the gold patterned paper to make the embossed background. I just love this star folder!
Gold Bells
I made this card for a color challenge at stampTV. The challenge was to use dark purple, gold, & black on our card. We could also use white/cream for a neutral. I think these colors look so beautiful together!Card Recip
STVSC36 Holly
Here is a card I made for a sketch challenge at stampTV . I had the hardest time taking a picture of this card. LOL! It doesn't show up well, but I stamped the holly flourish from Theresa's A Very Merry Christmas set on the white circle. I inked the image in Handsome Hunter ink and then stamped the image off on scratch paper 2 times before stamping it on the circle. I wanted to create a soft image behind the sentiment. It looks much prettier in real life.
