"Chica Bonita" a Freebie Kit for the DSO Oct CC
I made a kit for the October Color Challenge over @ DSO. I decided to call it "Chica Bonita." The reason is that my 4yr old granddaughter Charlotte always calls her 4 yr old cousin ( another granddaughter ) Chica rather than by her real name which is Mishka. It started when she couldn't talk so good and now we all call her that! It is just too irresistable. I think Chica Bonita translates to Pretty Girl but my Spanish never was good ( just 3 semesters in college ). If any of you can either confirm on deny that please feel free.

I'm Sick and Tired of being Sick and Tired... Wednesday @ the Pediatrician's Office we were prescribed with Flu Medicine as the children have the symptons and rapid flu test confirmed it. That is what I get for sending them to school. Oh, and the joy of trying to "FIND" the meds and get the insurance to Pay for it...Not Cheap! But by Thursday they were acting much better so the Tamiflu must be doing its job to keep the virus from replicating itself. Today they are bouncing off the walls and they can't go back to school till mid next week. It is like Summer all over again and I am the designated Chair of the Entertainment Committee :) I'm ready for that Calgo

Well, I said I would be back before the end of the month and I still have a week left! It has been an exhausting month around here... everyone been sick in One way shape, form or another... Fevers, Antibiotics... Two trips to the ER... Oooof! But FINALLY it seems we are catching a break only to find out that now there is a confirmed case of H1N1 at the school and they won't tell me if the sick child ( who hasn't been in school since Thursday ) is in either of the kids classrooms.
