Marquis Wants The Mets
The question remains: Do the Mets want him? The answer is yes. The Mets have always liked him. Last year, they were in talks with the Chicago Cubs to bring him here. Would have been better than signing Oliver Perez. During the regular season, Jason Marquis made it perfectly to one player on the New York Mets that he wants nothing more than to come here to New York to pitch and not for the Yankees. As a New York native himself, he would love nothing more. The Mets have spoken to his agent about his chances of moving to the Citi. Yet you have to wonder how much of a priority is Marquis when you have free agents out there like John Lackey.

Debate It: Walls Low or High?
Here is something I really want all of you to debate on. Homerun-less gave me the idea for this blog when he made this comment: The Mets NEED to go after Halliday and Hollidayand resign Delagodo and lower the fences!!!!!!! Homerun-less had a lot to say. Backman Goes To Brooklyn
Mike Silva of NYBD.com is reporting Wally Backman is heading to Brooklyn to be the manager of the Cyclones.
