My secret distant love affair with a budgie was consumated today. Can you see the love? He is totally frenching my thumb in this picture. This truly is a bird with a loving demeanor. And he appreciated the blue feather earrings I wore. But then again, they probably reminded him of his girlfriend, who indeed also is blue, and feathered.

Oh, and this article from The Copenhagen Post doesn't make me feel much better. Go ahead and read it, I'll wait.Seriously? Nestlé, do you really think that an island that's been named Ærø for the last 900 years should not be allowed to use its name on local products because you have named your chocolate something just a tad similar? We've had three hours of sunshine this November. So far. Um...it's worse in Greenland?
