I was out walking the dogs with my niece the other day & I guess I was out a bit later than usual, because it was almost dark by the time we got back! It reall is weird to have darkness hit at 4:30pm. The air was mild & we had been down on the Eastern Prom playing in the grass & then we made our way back home by weaving through the neighborhood streets. When we crossed Congress St. from Munjoy St, a spectacular view awaited ... this huge sliver of the moon hanging low near the Portland Observatory. :-)5x5 &bull

I was walking the dogs on the Eastern Prom the other day & a woman was outside photographing 3 beautiful wedding bouquets. I stopped and admired their beauty ... simple & classic. She asked me if I would like the red roses because they didn’t photograph well. I graciously accepted ... aren’t they beautiful! I am grateful to her for this gift & to you. It is so gorgeous out today! I just had to grab my paints & head outside. We went over to the Portland Head Light & the surf was wild, the wind was blowing & the sun was so bright.
