This blog is a place for the hurting, for the lost, for the confused and desolute to find refuge in the Hope that we have found. Douglas Bolton and Michael Clark have been there, we have all hit bottom, was it our absolute bottom?, may we never find out the answer to that question. Our goal is to provide others the same love, respect, compassion that others once extended to us. The three of our lives started out on three seperate paths but have intersected at the Cross, We have found Hope and a renewed life, not in a book, or a classroom, but in the person of Jesus Christ. We feel it is our goal, our privilege and our responsibility that when others are hurting or reaching out for help to be there with outstreched arms. We hope to encourage and challenge one another and others who may be along our path. |

You Can be Thankful and NOT Show It – Not
Can you be thankful and not show it –
I don’t believe so-
I believe if you are truly thankful a sense of gratitude will be so overwhelming that it can’t contain itself and will pour itself onto others as they cross your path
Last night an old friend of mine, made me think, by posting a simple comment on my page. It reminded me how much my life has changed and is changing every day. It reminded me of all the people and friends that never gave up on me, that always held out hope, even when I had none that someday, things would change. It is because of their support, and encouragement, not only t

It seems as the holidays are now upon us that people come to church in huge amounts upon the big special holidays. Then you do not see them again until the next series of holidays.

When Life’s Storms Darken Your Days
The fishermen know that the sea is dangerous and the storm terrible, but they have never found these dangers sufficient reason for remaining ashore.
Vincent van Gogh
Have you experienced storms in your life? Times when things just did not make sense. Times when our problems seemed big and faith seemed small. Times when we feel scared that we are going to be taken over by the storms, insecure, afraid, and uncertain. We all have gone through such storms in life and some of us are going through them right now.
There are certain events in our lives that sometimes come that dampen our spirits. Trials and storms are pa

God Promises a Safe Landing,
Not a Calm Passage
Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Psalm 73:25–26
This earth is a wonderful place to be. God has provided breath-taking beauty and the opportunity to live an abundant life.

Respect – is the word even relevent in our society?
“In the end we are all separate: our stories, no matter how similar, come to a fork and diverge. We are drawn to each other because of our similarities, but it is our differences we must learn to respect.”
Courtesy and respect are what help people live and work together and to get along with others. It has been said that “everything is gained and nothing is lost by courtesy.” Without courtesy and respect, we become selfish and strife occurs in our life’s. If we gain nothing else by being courteous and showing respect, we will gain friends.
Respect for and from others, and ourselves, is essential
