Anya the Russian Blue came from PAWS Atlanta, a no-kill shelter. Dannis encourages you to adopt from a shelter, or contact AKC to find your nearest chapter if you want a pedigreed dog. They can refer you to a breeder who can sell you a pet-quality dog for a lot less than pet shops, and your new puppy will be a lot healthier, too. |
