Celebrate Always
Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you're on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute!Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on t
The First Thanksgiving
The First Thanksgivingby Nora SmithNearly four hundred years ago, a great many of the people in England were very unhappy because their king would not let them pray to God as they liked. The king said they must use the same prayers that he did; and if they would not do t
Narrow Minded
I believe Jesus, the Christ is the only way to the only true God and all other paths are false. Some of those I have met in life have often opined that such a belief is narrow minded, and that no loving God would make such a narrow path to Himself. Narrow minded? I can not argue with them on that point. It is certainly narrow minded. All truth is narrow minded. All truth is narrow minded. How could it not be? Because it is truth, no matter what opinion anyone could ever have to the contrary, or how many
It's a New Dawn. It's a New Day. - The Buck Stops Here.
"From this moment forward, I will accept responsibility for my past. I understand that the beginning of wisdom is to accept the responsibility for my own problems and that by accepting responsibility for my past, I free myself to move into a bigger, brighter future of my own choosing.Never again will I blame my parents, my spouse, my boss, or employees for my present situation. Neither my education or lack of one, my genetics, or the circumstantial ebb and flow of everyday life will affect my future in a negative way. If I allow myself to blame these uncontrollable forces for my lack of success, I will be forever caught in a web of the past. I will look forward. I will not let
Chad Gerlach is back in treatment.
I wanted to be sure this updated information was included after I posted the original story about Chad being back on the street after placing 5th in the Nevada City Classic last June behind that one guy from Texas who I won't name. I meant to poste them back to back, but something happened to this one I suppose. Let's pray for Chad to dig out of this addiction.Chad Gerlach is back in addiction treatment after a set back in his much-publicized comeback - VeloNewsPosted using ShareThis
