Dear So & So: Frantic Inlaw Edition
Dear Inlaws,I may or may not have stayed up until 11 PM cleaning with my husband last night for your arrival this afternoon. I will apologize profusely for my "disastorous house" that has not been this clean in weeks. Usually the house is clean in levels. Last night Adam Lambert performed at the AMA's, and in spirit of every good rock star he came out with a BANG. Now I am sure those of you who watch American Idol could of guessed from the amount of makeup he wore during the show that his sexuality was... ummmm... questionable, to say the least! Season end...
I am sad to announce that NASCAR has come to a close. I now must wait 83 days until the season starts up again. Although my driver had an awful year I hate the down time. NASCAR is one of those sports that you only have to watch one event but it is on almost every weekend year round. No figuring out schedules, no losing out of the playoffs and having nothing to watch the rest of the season... Defensive... to a point
First off I want to clarify something. Not only did I receive a comment but quite a few emails on my post yesterday from single parent soldiers. So let me clarify this... yes, the chain of command fell through, no the soldier may not have been properly counseled on her options but missing movement will get you thrown in jail anyday. It is a serious NO NO in the Army to miss your deployment flight. She was not put in jail because she her care plan fell through but because she made the wrong decision and just simply did not show up.
