November adult's day
Very interesting day out I had.. and completely knackered at the end of the night!!!I went to Ear Foundation as usual for the workshop. this time was very different.. 3 experts came to show us and help us experiment with equipments they have brought with them.I tried again the bluetooth for mobile again.. but no joy because it did not work with my new iphone that I got last Wednesday.Urgghh!!I complained to AB expert that I dont like radio aid or switch to "T" because I cannot hear my own voice. they informed me that I could have a programme that is 50/50 which means that I can have 50/ for T and /50 for normal (can hear my own voice)They check my p

October Adult day 2009
Friday we decide to meet up for Pizza in Pizza hut in Nottingham. I brought my kids and lisa brought her so they were kept busy eating Pizza, leaving us alone to talk to everyone! It was a good night out, we were not home before 12!Saturday was the adult's day. We met a few more new faces - Mel and David Walton. I have not met them before. Mel in same boat as me.. an CI user with 2 children and husband! so nice to meet another mum who have children at similar age. I had another session with Maria. i focus on practise my P, B more and a few other letters like T. making a rhythm game which i can use to practice in car when I am bored...
