Printed Page Trades Books for Food
The Printed Page, a co-op bookstore that recently opened in the Washington and Platt Park neighborhood, has a habit of giving away free books for one reason or another. This time they are paring down their overstocked inventory in exchange for donations to the FISH food pantry. Kids Read for Free on Halloween
Dress up the kids early and stop by The Printed Page bookshop in Platt Park between 10:30am and 5:30pm on Saturday, October 31, to meet children’s book specialist Dr. Nancy Stevens and choose a souveneir from a variety of free books as part of the "Trick or Boo-k" event. The Printed Page is a bookstore "co-op" that houses the book collections of 11 independent dealers in its Victorian house-shop located at 1416 S. Broadway between Arkansas and Florida.

Five Points' Oldest Eatery
