The holiday shopping season officially kicks off this  weekend. With the current economic climate, spending has become a much more tricky action. Retailers fear that people won’t be able to spend as much this year and Americans are debating how to buy gifts and not rack up debt. If you are starting your holiday shopping here is a simple strategy that will help you keep your spending in check. Step one - Set a detailed budget and gift list- write down in big bold letters how much your are going to spend and who you are going to purchase gifts for. If you don’t write it down you are not going to stick with it.
